Origin Story
Dan Claxton began his journey in the hearth industry in 1986. After guiding and managing two successful hearth businesses, he saw an opportunity to offer homeowners and builders a seamless, turnkey solution for fireplaces and finishes. In 1994, he founded Claxton Fireplace Center with a vision to provide expert design, top-quality products, and professional installation, all through a single point of contact.
What started as a one-man operation in Dan’s basement has grown into a team of 20+ dedicated professionals. Today, Claxton Fireplace is the trusted regional leader, built on a foundation of integrity, craftsmanship, and a commitment to getting every detail right.
